Wet your beak with The Pelicans' Quarters. This first floor apartment oozes classic beach vibes, with many original features in a modernised but cozy interior.

Living and dining open onto a view of the pool and the ocean through the famous Burleigh Esplanade tree-scape. Wicker furnishings give this a tropical touch, but the owner's personality comes out best with the two gorgeously upholstered armchairs.

The spacious master bedroom has views of the ocean, and its own en suite. Facing the hinterland sits the second bedroom; a twin room, with two single beds, that faces the hinterland. The full kitchen also has views of the hinterland and mountains.

Our favourite part about this little Burleigh gem are the beachy decorative touches throughout. See if you can spot them all (the magnifying glass with whale tail handle might help). There's also a little library if you need a morning read on the beach, and of course the apartments' very own pelican.
